About the Artist
Cara Ucci has an innate sense of design and has been creating jewelry for over
fifteen years. Continually encouraged by friends and family to turn a lifelong
hobby into an occupation, Cara started her business in 2000 after living as
an expatriate in Asia for two years.
“My adventures around the world and the connections I’ve made with indigenous cultures have been a constant source of inspiration for my designs. Combining my love for travel and eye for unearthing treasures into a viable business has been both fun and challenging. My customers tend to come back time and time again, which is the most rewarding part of my job.”
CARAUCCI original designs combine hand selected semi-precious stones with sterling and antique tribal silver. Integrating color, form and texture, CARAUCCI creates stunning pieces that are eminently wearable yet timeless. “I hand select all my stones, paying close attention to color and texture to give my jewelry a classic, modern sensibility.”
CARAUCCI is primarily based in San Francisco but travels both domestically
and internationally, showing her work at a variety of venues.
